Random Gazette | Tech Me Out Edition 5/23/25

Call me an ever-optimist, but lately it feels like the hills are alive—and not just with the sound of music, but with the hustle and hum of production coming back to life in LA. Maybe it’s because I live in the hills, or maybe it’s the uptick in meetings and momentum I’m seeing—but either way, I’m here for it.

Now, I know I’ve been sporadic with these Tech Me Out newsletters (hence the new name: Random Gazette), but this edition is packed. So let’s get into it.

Spotlight: Microsoft.com

Big love to the team at Microsoft for featuring my little company on their big platform. It’s surreal to see our work spotlighted at that level—proof that small, scrappy, and innovative still gets noticed. Check it out if you haven’t already!

~Jess Loren

🌐 Global Objects Featured by Microsoft!

We’re thrilled to share that Global Objects is featured in an official Microsoft Customer Story - a major milestone that highlights our impact in digital production and enterprise-scale 3D data.

The article explores how GO uses Azure AI, cloud storage, and GPU compute to power our end-to-end platform - from scanning real-world locations and props with millimeter precision to delivering photoreal digital twins used in film, gaming, virtual production, and generative AI.

With GO Vault running on Azure Storage and rendering supported by high-performance GPU VMs, we’re helping studios like FOX, Disney, and Microsoft Studios reduce costs, speed up production, and unlock new creative possibilities.

💬 “Azure gave us the security, scale, and performance we needed to build the future of digital twins,” says GO CEO Jess Loren.

Fox Nation’s Blood on The Bridge: The Battle of Lexington and Concord | Hosted by Kelsey Grammer… Powered by Global Objects!

In Blood on the Bridge: The Battle of Lexington and Concord, Emmy-winning actor Kelsey Grammer takes viewers deep into a defining moment in American history—narrating a story of courage, conflict, and legacy. But what makes this Fox Nation documentary visually unforgettable isn’t just the storytelling—it’s the technology behind it.

Filmed entirely on a Global Objects virtual stage, this production traded traditional sets and expensive travel for precision-crafted digital environments. Our GO Capture team ventured into the field to scan real-world historical locations using cutting-edge photogrammetry and LiDAR. The result? Photoreal 3D environments that faithfully replicate the textures, dimensions, and atmosphere of the past—rendered with such realism that audiences feel as if they’re standing right on the bridge.

By merging historical authenticity with state-of-the-art 3D technology, Global Objects helped Fox Nation reduce production costs and timelines without compromising on cinematic quality. It’s a perfect showcase of how virtual production isn’t just the future of filmmaking—it’s already here.

▶️ Stream Blood on the Bridge now on Fox Nation and see how storytelling evolves when powered by GO.
